DIY Glitter Shoes

Dear lOve,

Sorry I've been MIA for the longest time! I needed times to reflect on my own little life + past actions, therefore, I've been busy trying to understand myself and the people around me :] I hope that was a legit reason!

Today, I'm going to show you guys how to TURN your old or damaged shoes into a brand new/glittery shoes!!!

Why Am I Doing This?
I really think that someone went into my shoes closet and sabotage my shoes!!! I recently bought these babies at the Fashion District in L.A.! I haven't worn or touch these! When I remembered these were tucked somewhere in my closet and decided to take them out for a spin!!! O.M.FCKING.GOD! someone must have worn these and dirty them!!!! Instead of blaming family members or any other crawling SPECIES!!!!!! I decided to turn these into --> GLITTER SHOES :]

*tears tears* my beautiful pink babies (T_T)

*see...someone sabotaged itttt*

Materials:

1. Joann's Silver Glitter ($6)
2. Loctite's Spray Adhesive ($7.50)
3. Mod Podge Glue ($6)
4. Plastic Plates (to hold the Mod Podge Glue)
5. Small Foam Brush (0.39 cents)
6. Plastic Cups (to pour the glitter)
7. Newspaper (for little mess)
8. Lotsssss of tissues
9. Gloves (optional)
10. Hairspray (optional)

Steps To Transform Your Shoes:
Time: 2:30 hrs
Satisfaction: 9.0 / 10

1ST LAYER

STEP #1: Pour the Mod Podge glue + little glitter together
STEP #2: the first layer of glues needs to have a little glitter in it because it will hold the glitter to the shoes better. Also, it will camouflage the sprinkled glitters! I don't know... IT'S JUST BETTER THIS WAY :]
STEP #3: put tissues in the middle of the shoes, so the glue wont get in and destroy the center :]
STEP #4: Paint the mixture of glue + glitter in small areas
STEP #5: Sprinkle glitters all over the areas that have glues cover.
^ Remember, to work in small areas at a time ^

first layer of glitters--you can still see small uncovered pink areas

2nd LAYER
STEP #6: Wait for 15 minutes for the glue to dry before applying the 2nd layer of glue. After you are done with the first layer, now dap MOD PODGE glue on first layer. DO NOT BRUSH or PAINT ON THE GLUE--glitters will fall off. Repeat Step 3-5 again with the glitters.
3rd LAYER

STEP #7: stray the Loctite's Spray Adhesive on the 2nd layer and repeat step (3-5) again with the glitters. The Adhesive stray will help to protect the glitter from falling apart!
While waiting, i got myself 2 cups of Sea Cream Jasmine Tea
boba + shoes = happiest girl on Earth :]

STEP #8: Use hairspray to get that "final" lock down of the glitters.

STEP #9: Wait for at least 24 hours before wearing it :]

Sunflower,
Happy glamming your old shoes
