DIY: How To Make Inexpensive Brush Guards

Lately, I've been inspired by a lot of things (mainly in the fashion field.) As you all know, I'm a chemist, but I really dislike my career path! So making this blog is a fun way to release some stress from the hectic studying and life drama.

What is this? It has three functions!
1. HOLD YOUR BRUSHES
2. SHAPE YOUR BRUSHES
3. AND PROTECT BACTERIA
FROM SPREADING

If you read my blog, you would probably had or will pick up some sort of makeup brushes right? But, most people don't know to clean (read previous entry) their brushes and how to protect them from bacteria. Today, I will show you my little trick on how I keep my brush clean and organize during small trips.

Materials: 1. Scissors  |  2. Lighter  |  3. Ziploc

Steps To Make Your INEXPENSIVE Brush Guard/ Travel Brush Holder

 1. Fold your Ziploc in 3 to 6 departments (depend on how big are your brushes)
2. Once you fold it, use the lighter and go along the folded lines.

 3. The plastic will melt, use your hands and press it together seal the melted part
4. Repeat step 1 through step 3 again until you get all the separated pocket to your liking
5. At the bottom of the Ziploc, cut a little hole so your brushes can go through it.

 FINISHED!!!

This is a perfect & cheap DIY to protect bacteria from spreading from your used to unused brushes.
REMEMBER, to deep clean your brushes every 2 weeks (link), and separate them from the clean and non-clean ones, because bacteria WILL SPREAD and ACNE will form. GOOD LUCK
